How to restore a damaged battery drill
Most use a removable battery holes 18V. Reactivation battery drill is very similar to a car battery. Although you can start the battery, fully damaged battery can not work again for long. Only be reactivated nickel-cadmium or nickel-metal-hydride. Try to save other types of batteries may damage the battery or serious injury.
You will need
A black link cable 14 gauge red wire
A link 14 gauge black and red alligator type connectors
A complete network voltage meter List
Instructions
1 Use a voltmeter to test the battery. Mark the side of the battery box that is positive and the negative.
2 Open the battery box drill removing the top with a screwdriver. Set the screws to secure them in a small container.
3 Marks the point where the upper terminal cables pass through the insulation piece. Remove the insulation piece drill and set it aside.
4 Remove the batteries from the drill and put them aside.
5 Test each battery to determine the cells that require support to boot. The good batteries do not require to be helped while batteries that have negative results if required. The voltmeter should be placed on both.
6 Put the damaged batteries with the help of the external source on. Place the alligator clip back on the negative end of the battery and connect the cable clamp on the battery charger. Connect the red cable clamp on the battery charger and touch the positive side of the battery clamp red. Play it again and hold the clip on the battery for about 5 seconds.
7 Reassemble the battery and insert it into the hole.
